Some pictures inspired by looking at the work of Franz Kline: big, black, structures, with some touches of colour. The white sections are white paint, not left as the white paper, for a more textured finish. Painting the white after the black, on top of the black, softens the graphic effect. Easy to read some suggestions of landscape in these: horizons, roads, rivers, field patterns.
