Almost warm in the sunshine. But still ice in the shadows.

Ashdown Forest: Mist

Painting on the eastern edge of Ashdown Forest, at the Five Hundred Acre Wood. Mist and fog over the forest. The mist turns to rain dripping on the wet paint, creating the unplanned spray effect.
